RFD life vests

RFD Australia is an Australian subsidiary of the British RFD Ltd. company of Dunmurry just outside Belfast, the RAAF being one of their major customers. RFD means Rubberized Fabrics Development.

Life jackets in Australia were made by Dunlop and RFD Australia. Interesting to note that they were still
producing these jackets for the RAAF until 1990, the only difference being the colour was changed from
